I’m 20 years old and married to the best person on this planet. I’m from Pakistan and apart from what most people would think, it’s not the most war stricken place on earth. I had a wish list of the things I wanted from life but marriage wasn’t even in the top 10. It just came LATER. Like every normal person I dreamt of going to my favorite business school after A levels. But this never happened. I was also never the girl who would be a homemaker at an early age, so I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to cope with such a big change. My life shifted to another track and I didn’t know what it would demand. We moved to another country and I was angry and frustrated that I had to leave my smooth-going life and start all over. However, marriage and his love made me strong and I believe women can do anything in life.
