My sister was in a physics class in high school and she was the only girl in Physics C. Although many suspected she would quit because of the huge gender imbalance, she persevered and continued doing the thing she loved. She is now in chemical engineering in college and continues to feel the imbalance, but still, she remains strong and determined. Girls can do just as much as boys and should not feel pressured to stop doing what they love just because it’s not ‘normal’.
