I went to an engineering camp. I’m a girl, and engineers are typically men. Because of this, a lot of guys at this camp thought they were better than the girls. I was determined to prove them wrong, so I set out to solve/make everything the best. I ended up having the best water filter, solving the equation for the water flow project and my group of all girls succeeded in having the one water flowing system that did not leak and had proper calculations. This story is empowering because it shows that a woman is the same as a man, and that even in a male dominated field, women can still succeed.
