Didn’t I Just Say That?

For 8 months, my credit card was charged incorrectly by a local newspaper for a digital subscription that I wasn’t receiving. After 8 calls over 3 months, I was able to get the paper to cancel my subscription (that I never received) and stop charging my card, but I still could not get them to refund my card for their incorrect charges. My husband calls once on my behalf, and they call him back to tell them that they’re requesting a full refund. Why do I even bother?
