I was raised in an addicted home. I saw and experienced things no child should ever have to see or experience. So it naturally, and to no surprise I ended up in a relationship with an addict. Needless to say the relationship was every bit of toxic. The blessing I did receive from being with that person is the blessing of my children. I am the mother to two sets of amazing twins. I’m a single mother now and pretty much have been since they were born. I work a full time job and I work everyday to provide a different and better life for them than what I had. That are awesome, kind, happy kids who get to live a life that a child is supposed to live. They will never have to endure the hardships I faced growing up which hopefully will prevent them from the same hardships I had in early adulthood. They are my world and I strive to give them my all everyday.
